First Week of SOAR

Thank you to all the students who attended SOAR this week! The ASC advised over 100 students who went through a day long orientation session which helped them transition into college life and into UNLV Rebels. Students learned about different services and resources like tutoring, career counseling and major exploration that will assist them while they are here.

The new MyUNLV system was a great success!  Many students had already accessed the registration system prior to attending SOAR and were up to speed on it’s use which made for quick a turnaround in the registration labs. Thank you to all the students that we met and we looking forward to seeing those of you who are attending future SOAR sessions this summer!
